This Terri Lee dress style was often made in a very charming fabric with a secret message printed on it in shorthand. Remember shorthand? Well, it was a very popular fabric -- I don't know what it said as I have long since forgotten my shorthand classes. If you know, would you let me know? The dress features a full sleeve made a bit differently than the standard puff sleeve. I hope you can see the difference in the inset photo. It looks super. As does the charming little duster coat with matching "pony tail" hat. These pieces are patterned after the vintage Terri Lee clothing items offered by the Terri Lee Company in the 1950s. The clothing made from these patterns will fit both your vintage and reproduction 16" Terri Lee dolls. The pattern was made specifically for the Terri Lee doll and will fit her wonderfully, unlike the 16" doll clothes patterns produced in the 50s for thinner dolls. The pattern comes with all the pieces for the outfits shown and written instructions. The pattern is packaged in a plastic sleeve that helps you keep all the pieces together after you've cut the fabric. It will fit in a small 3 ring binder (not included).
