This is a 1920s -30s vintage silk hosiery mending kit with several shades of silk thread and an
"imported self-threading needle".
You would want this on your vanity to slip into your purse or traveling bag.
The blurb inside tells of the 5 woman panel that made up the "greatest style advisory group ever assembled"!
They were in charge of selecting the shades of silk thread included in this kit.
It is marked Compliments of Real Silk Hosiery Mills - Indianapolis, IND Indiana
Closed - it measures not quite 2" x 3".
It is in good condition for paper of this age. There is some age yellowing and light soiling .
There are no tears and the contents are complete.
