Vintage 1950's Pat. Pending TERRI LEE "Heart Fund Doll" - All Original and Minty

Up for auction is a fantastic Terri Lee Heart Fund Doll from around 1951. She is all original and in excellent near mint condition!  Terri is marked on her back "Terri Lee/Pat. Pending".  Her plastic is in excellent condition with no cracks, splits, or damage. I did restring her as the rubber band had broken and she poses beautifully. Her face is beautifully painted with those great big expressive brown eyes, rosy cheeks, and big red lips. I also love the way they painted her eyebrows, lending such a sweet expression to her face. Her face color is all original, no retouches.
Her wig is just phenomenal. Under the wig is her molded hair. The color is either black or darkest brunette.  In some light you can see a few highlights which make the color so dimensional. The hair has the original braids on each side, tied with red ribbons.
Her outfit is in excellent condition with no holes, stains, odors, or other damage.  It is tagged with the Terri Lee tag as shown in the picture. It is the Heart Fund outfit that I believe is from 1951 according to other examples I've seen on-line. The red dress is trimmed with white lace on the sleeves and neckline, and a red ribbon tie at the waist. It is accompanied by a white apron which ties in the back. Under the dress is a full slip and matching panties.  The slip is excellent. The panties do still have some waistband stretch, but were a little loose so I pinned them in the back at the waist so they would stay up perfectly. She wears her original white socks and shoes. Finally she has her "I Love You" heart tied to her wrist. She is a wonderful doll, and the prettiest Terri Lee I've ever had!  Please take a look at our other vintage offerings this week, too.
