Very RARE antique, fully labeled LENCI doll, mechanical store mannequin figure

Description

Wonderful mechanical, moving arm, Lenci doll....
Extremely RARE, original circa 1930s,
very large,
labeled antique, LENCI, Turin, Italy
mechanical, store window or counter display mannequin figure,
measuring over 26" tall. This wonderful standing figure has a flocked felt covered hard head and body with all the distinctive Lenci characteristics including those huge expressive, brown eyes with highlights and thick eyelashes,
t
wo-tone "surprised" look open-closed mouth,
pug nose, molded ears, brows and chubby cheeks. Her original thick blond wig is center-parted with long wrapped braids and two tiny pink bows. Her legs are molded to stand and not move. She wears a charming green felt skirt and darker green jacket with two tone green collar and felt rose flower trim at neck and matching rose trim on her skirt. Original cotton onesie (underwear) and matching green felt sandals complete her outfit. And in her hands she holds
her green plaid, cotton parasol which can
move to open and close the parasol. (uncertain if this could be mechanized)
Attached to the back of her skirt is the original huge cardboard tag showing that she was designed and
ordered from Lenci via Silvestri Art Mfg. Co. Inc.
and sent to
Lord & Taylor
(high end retailer) for store display purposes. She has no damages or repairs, no stains or holes and no odors.  Shipping costs are only approximate and will be determined at time of sale due to destination. This item is very large and heavy which requires double boxing and full insurance.
