An extremely rare 1977 Talking Heads concert poster ‘tour blank’ dating from the time of their Sire Records debut album. Tour blanks were sent by an artist’s record company to local promoters, who wrote the name of the club and show details in the blank space at the bottom. The design here is derived from the artwork from their first album, Talking Heads ’77. This is the only example of this super rare poster that can be found at this time on the internet, as tour posters from their first tour are extremely hard to come by. This is an 100% original from 1977, not a reproduction or copy.
Poster is in very good condition for its age. There are a few minor blemishes, some creasing, light stain in the blank section. Overall great shape, no pinholes or tears.
