The Data Express DX115 SAS/SATA 6G HDD enclosure from CRU offers a great solution for government agencies, digital cinemas, and SMB organizations to store, transport and protect their sensitive data. This enclosure includes a frame that mounts into any 5.25" ODD bay, and a removable carrier which you can insert your 2.5”/3.5” hard drive into. You can purchase additional carriers if you have multiple HDDs and easily swap them. Plus, the rugged steel construction of this removable enclosure dissipates heat quickly and ensures the safety of your drives.
Receiving Frame
The receiving frame features a SAS/SATA 6Gbps host interface for connecting with the motherboard, and a cooling fan for efficient, effective cooling for your high performance drive. The 6Gbps interface offers 6 Gbps performance when used with a 6 Gbps drive and host configuration and it is backward compatible with 3 Gbps drives and hosts. Its exclusive drive interface, which is the junction of the frame and the carrier, has been tested and verified for up to 30,000 carrier insertions.
Locking Mechanism
The key lock prevents accidental ejection or removal of your drive during operation, and protects your drive from theft or unauthorized access.
Slide Carrier
The drive carrier accommodates 2.5"/3.5" SATA/SAS drives. An ejection handle allows easy removal of the carrier from the receiving frame.
